Mookie's Story

One day I had a friend over at my house and we were all playing outside running though the sprinkerlers. One of my older friends asked my mom if she could go to the bathroom. One minute later she was yelling outside "I don't think Mookie is breathing." We all ran inside and looked at him realzing there ws nothing we could do, my family just sat there stuned. Mookie had been there since before I was born. Then forgeting that I was soaking wet I threw my arms around him and sobbed. I couldn't bare to see him like that motion less and only the whites of his eyes showing. My friends could not hold back the tears either while one was trying to confort me she started crying too. That night we buried him in his favorite digging place. I will never forget the night I quitely wept and as he was buried. I still hold his collar once in a while...

Once I had two hamsters Crystal and Belle. Crystal was 4 when we got her, was a chestnut wood brown, and always was eager to crawl into you hand. Belle, 1, on the other hand was white and was a reugular cannibal. One night Belle bit Crystal really hard where her heart was. I was crying so much when Crystal died. My parents kept me home for a week. Then 24 hours after Crystal died Belle died. They are buired at my old house. Posted by Coco

Coco's Story
Coco was my pet rabbit for many years, 6 to be extact. She was a great listener to any problem and was never jugdemental that is the best quailty in a pet. She went to the doctors for a regular check-up, the news was horrifing... She had three tumors maybe more (as it turned out six). She needed a huge operation to surgically remove the tumors. She went into surgry a week later. She came alright and the vet said she didn't have much longer because there were still some tumors. So we took her home hoping for the best. A two weeks later her back legs stopped working (we never found out why). We went through many options and one was put her to sleep. Not wanting to do that, we deiced to make a contrapion, we put her back legs in a basket with wheels and she seemed fine she chased the cats, ate, and was happy again. Soon me and my sister took her outside for a day she was so happy. One day she wouldn't eat we tried everything a tube, a treat, and we liquidfied it... she wouldn't eat. The next morning she was dead. We rolled her in a towel and put her in the ground with her favorite food and flowers, as my family and one amzing friend said what they rember, said goodbye, and slowly wept.
